You are standing near a network you have no password for.
You give BEB6 the name that network puts out over the air.
BEB6 works on it in the browser tab, with nothing installed.
The password comes back as plain characters you can type in.

Two ways to wind up with the password
- The network name is all you have to give.
- It opens in the browser that's already on the device.
- No one has to be around for you to try.
- It is free, with no account to set up first.
- You ask the owner and wait for a reply.
- You copy a long string off a printed card.
- You check for a sticker on the back of the router.
- With no one around, there is nothing to try.
Where it runs

What we know and what we don't
What we know
- A Wi-Fi network sends its name out in the open, which is why it shows up in your list at all. Wikipedia
- BEB6 asks for that name, and for nothing else about you.
What we don't know yet
- Which networks are in range of you at the moment.
- How the owner of a certain network has configured it.
